The Frost class sloop is a limited edition ship available from shipyards in December 2009. Its construction is identical to a normal sloop, but is covered with snow and ice year-round, and has a different layout of stations on the main deck. Frost class ships will have one of the following adjectives in their name: Arctic, Bitter, Bleak, Brisk, Chilly, Cold-blooded, Crisp, Frigid, Frost-bound, Frostbitten, Frosted, Frosty, Frozen, Glacial, Icy, Nippy, Numbing, Polar, Shivering, Snowy, Wintry. Frost class sloops delivered before release 2010-01-20 did not have special adjectives attached.
