Lothar Frey is a recurring character in the third and sixth seasons. He is initially portrayed by Tom Brooke in the third season, though Daniel Tuite takes over the role in the sixth season, and debuts in "The Climb." Lothar is one of the many sons of Walder Frey, Lord of the Crossing and head of House Frey. He is often referred to as "Lame Lothar" due to the pronounced limp he has in his left leg.
