The Academy City Fireworks Festival is a festival occuring in the middle of summer, where Academy City displays various festivals for people to see. Like many festivals in Japan such as the Tanabata festival, women wear yukatas as per tradition, while men are allowed to wear more casual clothes. Like other festivals, there are various stalls that sell an assortment of items, such as food (like candy apples and octopus balls), masks amd other souvenirs; there are also stalls for games such as ball catching and ring tossing.
