The Office of Diversity Programs assists in the recruitment and retention of African American, Latino, and American Indian students. The office is currently headed by Calvin Hill. It was formed in 1993 as two separate offices, Multicultural Affairs and Minority Student Affairs. It was consolidated in April 1996 as the Minority Affairs Office. It was renamed to Office of Summer Programs during the summer of 2005.
