Death Claw is a Blue Magic spell that inflicts Paralysis on a single enemy and reduces their HP to a single digit. A Blue Mage may learn this spell from the Death Claw, Treant, Gilgamesh, Soul Eater, Azulmagia, Iron Claw, Objet d'Art, and Strapparer enemies. It costs 21 MP to cast, pierces Reflect status, and, like Gravity and instant death spells, cannot affect monsters with the Heavy type. The player may utilize this ability by catching and releasing a Strapparer.
