The January 5th-8th 2019 tornado outbreak was a large tornado outbreak. Synopsis On January 5th the SPC issued a Moderate risk of severe weather for most of the southeast. 40 tornadoes touched down one EF4 hit Mayflower Arkansas killing 12 people. On the 6th 30 touched down an EF5 destroyed Albany Georgia leaving no buildings standing in the town. On the 7th 15 touched down one was a EF3. On the 8th 5 touched down.
