This blade was forged by a hero named Narrock Vikos after he defeated the great dragon god, Arcanive. Then he sealed the blade away in the Stone of Seris (after Not Long Ago), waiting for a great hero to come along when he is gone and put the mighty god back in the depts of Zamorak. Narrock then got taken by the gods and they made a city in favour of him called Varrock.
