Frances Lively is a consultant at St. James Hospital. She was also the doctor of Holby City's emergency department's Lead Consultant Nick Jordan for a brief period in 2009. Nick found out from Frances that he had a brain tumour, which he wished not to have surgery on as he knew the risks. He later had the surgery due to co-worker Zoe Hanna forging his signature on the consent forms.
