Flight commander was a rank in the Imperial Navy during the reign of the Galactic Empire. A flight commander instructed a speeder bike class at the Royal Imperial Academy that included Thane Kyrell, Ciena Ree, and Nash Windrider. Following the Battle of Jakku, Windrider served as a flight commander aboard the attack cruiser Garrote.
