The New King James Version is a modern English translation of the Holy Bible. It is a revision of the King James Version that was published in 1982 by Thomas Nelson and is copyrighted. The Left Behind books use this version primarily when characters are quoting verses from the Bible, though other translations are also used. On-site articles on this wikia will primarily use the New King James Version when quoting verses unless where otherwise indicated.
