Josh is introduced after Wendy arrived with her aunts and tries to befriend her. The two hit it off almost immediately until one of Wendy's aunt interfere. Ironically, although she did this to vex Wendy, she unintentionally tried to protect her from Josh's true cruel character. Sure enough, Wendy eventually became disgusted with Josh after he and his friend were rude to her and concentrating on an arcade game. Wendy then ruined their game by using her magic to unplug the machine.
