John Teska is a digital effects artist. For his work on Lost on the episode "Live Together, Die Alone, Part 1", Teska won the 2006 VES (Visual Effects Society) Award for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Broadcast Program, along with his colleagues Kevin Blank, Mitchell Ferm, and Eric Chauvin. According to former visual effects supervisor Kevin Blank, Teska is "the artist that has always done the smoke monster." ("[[|]]")
