The Russian Typhoon Center is currently located in Aldan, Russia, though whether to relocate the centre to the city of Khabarovsk, much closer to the Pacific, is currently under consideration. The RSTC regularly monitors Pacific typhoons and ex-typhoons that are likely to threaten the coast of Far Eastern Russia.
