Khalas was the third planet in the Aberriz star system in the Klingon Empire in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. It was the only class M planet in its system, and it had four moons. Khalas was once a minor Orion Colony until it was dominated by the Klingons. In the late 23rd century, it was commanded by Admiral Khour zantai-Laggal, though the Orion Balun family shared power. Khalas had a technological/sociopolitical index of 999794-75 and a planetary trade profile of CCCBBDE/A(B).
