The trading cards are arranged into four main subsets: * 40 "Dark Horse Comics" cards, which present artwork (typically cover art) taken from various Aliens, Predator and Aliens vs. Predator comic books published by Dark Horse Comics. * 12 "Gallery" cards, which present newly-commissioned artwork based on the franchises. * 15 "Aliens vs. Predator" cards, which likewise consist of new artwork by Chris Warner and form an adaptation of the comic Aliens vs. Predator 2. * 15 "Operation: Aliens" cards, which feature new art by Den Beauvais and also form a short comic.
