Gul Darhe’el was a Cardassian military officer assigned to command the Gallitep labor camp on Bajor during the Occupation of Bajor in 2357. His horrible treatment of the prisoners at the camp earned him the nickname “Butcher of Gallitep”. During the mining accident at the camp he was on Cardassia Prime being awarded the Proficient Service Medallion. In 2363, he died in his sleep of a coleibric hemorrhage and was buried beneath one of the largest monuments on Cardassia.
