Butha was a type of Kilrathi cruiser, considered old by 2634. An aged Butha was used by Vakka to experiment with the new experimental shield-penetrating torpedo. It was destroyed by an Asjaka bomber which launced a torpedo that successfully penetrated the phase shielding effectively destroying the target. The results were shown to Clan leaders and commanders.
