The episode "Shell Shocked" reveals that the Quantrons are capable of speaking English with a robotic voice, as one is interrogating a captured T.J. They do not display this ability afterwards, instead communicating in robotic mumbling. Strangely, although they are robots, their armor can be removed and worn as demonstrated by Andros and Zhane in "Dark Specter's Revenge".
