Haydar Ilias was a Mirialan male born on the planet Mirial in 24,327 BBY. In 24,300 BBY, Haydar left his home world and joined the Death's Tongue Militia. He was a strange person to most of the DTM soldiers. This made him a sort of out-cast in the DTM and because of this, he had no friends. In the Raid in Benmossia, he was appointed senior gunnery sergeant of the militia. After the battle, the DTM leader Sabsa Junn, brought together Haydar and 9 other talented soldiers and appointed them the official DTM elite team, known as the Death's Knock Assassins. Haydar was also appointed co-leader of the team because of his expertise on stealth and speed.
