Larry Ludgate is April Ludgate's father. In a deleted scene in season two Leslie tries to convince April's parents to stop April and Andy's wedding as they had only been dating for a month. Larry approved of Andy, figuring him to be better than April's other suitors Orin (who left a dead bird whenever he came to their house) and Derek who was gay.
