Michaela is a "weird" goth girl who kept visiting the Cafe where Hal and Tom work. She showed Hal one of her "ideas" (a skull goblet) and tried to befriend him and Tom, but they only walked away. During another visit to the cafe Hal and Tom, as a contest, tried to "chat her up", but she rudely dismissed them. On her last visit to the cafe, Michaela tried to pay for her cheeseburger with one of her poems. When Hal threatened to call the police if she refused to pay in money, she tossed the coins onto the counter and at Hal. Tom dismissed her with "You are not a very nice young lady."
