Sara Quirtle is a human child whose laugh turned into Prilla. This caused Prilla to express human mannerisms and etiquette, but Sara was left incomplete as a result. As a young child she would sit and stare into the distance, never laughing or playing until Prilla used a wand to make Sara complete again.
