A Bug Catcher is a general term for a trainer in the Pokemon series of games who trains Bug-Type Pokemon. However, in Pokemon Genesis, the Bug Catcher character is more detailed, revealing that they do not participate in the LEague Tournament but instead have their own league, the Bug League. By defeating all the members of the Bug League, a trainer becomes a Bug Maniac.
