Sasuke ran away from them as a puppy and came back 2 years later. The story became famous. The son was the only one whose name was known (Hiro). After having mistaken the Ōu Leader, Gin, for his friend, Weed, Hōgen started to aid pet-dogs to his army. Sasuke was one of them and left his owners once again to join Hōgen's army and then the Ōu Army. They were not seen after volume 7, chapter 1 in the manga and were not featured in the anime but were only mentioned once by Sasuke.
