The Theran Listeners were a Force-sensitive cult of Oldtimers who lived on the planet Nam Chorios. The planet's native intelligent and Force-sensitive spook-crystals were capable of speaking to the Therans, who formed the cult. The cult's goal was to prevent the droch—insects that spread the Death Seed plague—from ever leaving the planet, because the world's star had violet light that weakened the parasitic insects. The Theran Listeners were capable of healing and foresight.
