A whistle-blower who is in the United States Navy claims that a high-tech combat system he's been working on is greatly defective, prompting Mac to be assigned to the case to investigate but when she manages to get the whistle-blower release, she soon learns that he had a far greater motive while Harm finds himself being targeted by a lawyer in a scam and the JAG staff also hold a ceremony to celebrate Harm and Turner being awarded for their efforts in stopping the missile attack against the U.S.S.
