Mairne, situated within the system of the same name, was a planet in the Kathol sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Connected to the neighboring planets of Charis and Gandle Ott by hyperlanes, Mairne was located just off the Trition Trade Route that ran through the sector. The world supported a small colony, whose economy was based around supplying ore and natural resources to Gandle Ott.
