The Dominion Engineering Corps (DEC) was a division of the Kel-Morian Combine which worked for the Terran Dominion. Based on Moria, it undertook the task of rebuilding orbital platforms over planets such as Tarsonis in order to maintain a supply of commerce. During the Second Great War, the engineering corps was in use by the Dominion. It took part in the Battle of Char, it moved the xel'naga artifact to the base of the Primary Hive Cluster, where it was subsequently activated.
