The RGA42TFMZ features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top with binding bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include dual, covered Ibanez CAP-LZ active humbucking pickups, the new Edge Zero II tremolo with zero-point system and a locking nut. A special feature is the active EQ switch which activates a mid-cut. The RGA42TZ is a similar model without the exotic wood top and the RGA42FM is a similar hard-tail model. The RGA42TFMZ was discontinued after 2012.
