The Mechanical Transportation Administration is a division of the Office of Transportation of the Department of Magical Affairs. It is the agency that regulates the use of Muggle vehicles that have been converted for magical travel. Flying motorcycles, automobiles, and the like fall under the jurisdiction of the Mechanical Transportation Administration. Even though they are not as common, carriages, ships and boats bewitched for travel also fall under this agency's jurisdiction.
