Around thirty days after Emergence Day, Reid was part of the effort to defend the city of Halvo Bay from a huge Locust assault. Reid was stationed in the Seahorse Hills and helped the evacuation efforts there. He was killed when a Boomshot round hit his transport and destroyed it. Reid's COG Tag was later recovered by Pvt. Garron Paduk of Kilo Squad.
