Purple Spawn is strangely herbivorous and frugivorous, which is strange for a purple mushroom zombie to be. It may be some kind of mutation, as some purple mushroom zombies were already known to be frugivorous or herbivorous. Purple Spawn's behavior is also strange, as it isn't agressive like the other mushroom zombies nor tries to spread the infection. Some theories have rised saying that Purple Spawn is the spirit of Magna Weegeepede, although many claimed that "robots have no soul". This has lead to several other debates which got more and more violent. Eventually it was revealed that it was nothing but the armor of Magna Weegeepede infected with the Purple Mushroom.
