Life Pods are often found in groups of two or three and in the company of other monsters, mostly Moss Scarabs or Jungle Trolls. They usually are hidden below the ground and pop up when a player comes near. They sometimes heal other monsters around them so kill them first. If you just want to put a Condition on them and fight the other monsters, that works also. Just make sure the condition doesn't end.
