Karim Kerbouche (born January 16, 1982 in London, UK), is an ice hockey player, widely recognised as the creator of Algerian ice hockey. In 2008 Kerbouche saw his dream come true as the Algeria national ice hockey team took to the ice for the first time in the Arab Cup of Ice Hockey, Kerbouche scoring Algeria's first goal against the Morocco national ice hockey team. As the Algerian ice hockey programme expanded the Association Algerienne de Ice et Inline Hockey was formed. More staff were brought in to fill management roles, while Kerbouche became Director and continued as a player.
