The EX370 has a solid wood body bolted to a one-piece maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with triangle position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions flanking a single coil, a double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The humbuckers are mounted with pickup rings. For the US market, the EX370's body is basswood; European EX370s are made of alder. In 1993 US-spec EX370s got a new 24-fret neck. The EX370 was discontinued after 1993 along with the rest of the EX line.
