Sam is still making his angry feelings about Joe and Kathy very clear but Annie assures Kathy that as long as she is head of the household her and Joe are welcome to Emmerdale Farm anytime they like. It is Remembrance Sunday and despite Annie's determination not to let the village gossip get the better of her, Sam is deep in thought about the day of judgement and this is when Joe will see the error of his ways.
