Leo Knowles wrote twenty episodes of Coronation Street between January 1971 and February 1974 under the nom-de-plume of Bernard Aspen, and wrote a further seventeen episodes under his own name between March 1974 and January 1976 making 37 in total. He also contributed two editions of Thirty Minute Theatre.
