This is made from heavy cream, butter, grated Parmesan cheese, pepper, parsley and minced garlic and occasionally nutmeg. Used with fettuccine pasta to create the rich 'Fettuccine Alfredo' dish. White wine is also now used in this popular sauce created by Alfredo di Lello.
