The earliest references to the Three Tails are in the scrolls left behind by ninja from the [[Second Great Shinobi War (AWN)|Second Great Ninja War]. The Three-Tails made appearances in a variety of subsequent shinobi works of history and fiction. The Three-Tails became a stylised representation of a horse in reign of the Sons of Darkness.
