Dushanism was the ancient religion of the Dushanists. These people lived throughout the kingdom of Tushetia, and the religion was practiced in full force from around 430 to its decline from about 1450 until around 1610, the ultimate fall of Tushetia, when Dushanism became unorthodox. The religion involved worshiping the crop and resources that the Earth produced, and their high god, Əžîl, also called Üb Ÿtlalü, or Gracious Man, was said to exist in all kinds of foods. Dushanists also shunned sex, sexual activity and sexual behavior. They knew it was necessary to continue the civilization and to keep mankind alive, but they believed that it was dirty and cruel, and that man could not survive being tempted by sex.
