Richard David Pursel (born September 17, 1964) is a writer of Ren and Stimpy. In season 1, he was the directors assistant. All his writing credits are from seasons 2 and 3, with one from the last season. He is rather infamous for writing SpongeBob from seasons 5-8, due to most of his episodes being mean-spirited especially A Pal for Gary and in Ren & Stimpy Adult Cartoon helped write for one of the worst received episodes Ren Seeks Help. Currently he is the story editor for Mighty Magiswords.
