One of the few rangers of the kingdom of Lordaeron. Like others, Mathor was trained in the arts by their former High elf allies. However, Mathor never finished his training with the High elfs because of ethical problems. He was showing no compassion for the forest or life at all, he had a very good talent for using bow and used that talent in more brutal ways then subtle. Mathor left the city of Lordaeron and founded a new home in Silverpine Forest. The training he had been given from the High elf and the Lordaeron military had give him enough knowledge to make a new home in the forest.
