Oryan was a shaman from the Seven Cities who worked as a bodyguard of Mallick Rel. He possessed a strange Elder magic connected to the Warrens. He was a bone thin, dark skinned old man with faded blue tattoos whose hands were hard and knotted with arthritis. He had a long face with eyes "as dark and flat as wet stones." He was also likely Soletaken as he was once described shifting into nothingness amidst a sharp spice scent.
