King Tyras is the ruler of West Ardougne. He and his brother King Lathas are responsible for the division of West and East Ardougne. He is not present in RuneScape Classic, but is mentioned by several NPCs. According to the Recruiter, he is "crusading in the darklands of the west". King Lathas tells at the end of Biohazard quest that on his way to the west Tyras was captured by the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord promised to save his life if he drank from the Chalice of Eternity, a periolous act that ultimately corrupted him.
