The Embassy of Ivalice in Konggei is Ivalice's diplomatic mission to Surea. It's located at Embassy Street at Kisame Ward in Konggei. The embassy is situated in a compound that is home to both the ambassador's residence and the old and new chanceries. The ambassador's residence was built in 1959. It was designed by Matsuki Takahashi to resemble an Japanese housing, with the old chancery facing the street. By the 1990s, the old chancery was deemed too cramped, and the new chancery, designed by Chinese architect Wen HaiPing, was built. Part of the old chancery was converted into staff quarters, and the rest is currently occupied by the offices of the Ivalician Council.
