As a two-dimensional platformer, it was not developed by Insomniac Games nor High Impact Games but by the company Handheld Games. Ratchet and Clank were transported in an electronic device (the phone you are holding in your hands) via the Macro Corporeal Geo Fragmention Ion Negator and had to fight their way back out. There were seven weapons available, and twelve levels. There were four basic types of enemies in the game: security bots, security tanks, chickenbots, explodos, and a final boss.
