Bobby J. Brown is an American actor. He plays Western District veteran Officer Bobby Brown in The Wire. He is a guest star in the fourth & fifth seasons. He initially appeared uncredited in the first season. He has appeared in The Wire creator David Simon's other series Homicide: Life on the Street and The Corner. He has been active since 1998 and has also appeared in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and the films Pecker (1998), Love the Hard Way (2001), From Within (2008), and My One and Only (2009).
