The Cygnus Campaign was a series of large engagements during the final year of the Human-Covenant War. As part of the general offensive, the Covenant assaulted both Cygnus and New Jerusalem with sizable space and ground assets, though the United Nations Space Command resisted both invasions fiercely. Despite suffering tremendous casualties, Covenant forces successfully overwhelmed and destroyed both colonies.
