The Tennessee Volunteers was one of several groups right-leaning racist groups that appeared in the Confederate States in the aftermath of the Great War. They shared certain political ideas with the Freedom Party and the Redemption League, but would not cooperate with either party, much to their frustration. When the Freedom Party dominated the country at the end of the 1920s, the Tennessee Volunteers became irrelevant.
