The Imperial Cross (Dorvische: Kaiserliche Kreuz) is a military award which was awarded throughout the duration of the Kingdom of Dorvik since it was created in 1803 by the Dorvish Imperial General Staff at the behest of King Leopold III. The medal was the first award given to the common soldier and was often bestowed by their senior officer, thus Sergeants and Lieutenants were often seen awarding this medal and not members of the Dorvish Imperial General Staff. The Imperial Cross 1st and 2nd Class were required to be eligible for the Prince's Cross of the Imperial Cross.
